Welcome to SAIT’s UXicorn Design Club Newsletter! As we head into a brand new semester, we wanted to reintroduce the whole crew, and show a sneak peak into future events for the upcoming fall semester! Each of us brings something unique to the table, and together we’re here to support, inspire, and connect SAIT’s awesome creative community.
🦄 Verity is UXicorn’s President. She has a passion for all things creative. When she’s not busy with classes, you’ll find her at the gym or crafting collages. 💪🏻🎨 She enjoys coming up with cool, creative solutions to complex problems is wishes to bring creatives alike together.
🦄 Moe is UXicorn’s vice president. For any Questions regarding UXicorn, feel free to message Moe via teams or LinkedIn. When he’s not in class or at UXicorn executive meetings, he’s capturing life through a camera lens. Why did Moe join UXicorns? “I am passionate about creating a great user experience for everyone, and that should no less extend to the members of our club!”
🦄 Robyn is UXicorn’s Marketing VP. For any creative student who would like to join our marketing team, Robyn is your person. She brings creativity and strategy to everything she does. When she’s not at SAIT or at work, she loves reading, taking care of her (many!) plants, and getting competitive with board games and D&D nights. 🎲
🦄 Sanjana is UXicorn’s Finance VP. When she’s not in class or attending club meetings (Sanjana is in CodeBlazers as well!), you’ll find her listening to music, baking, or making paper crafts. 🧁 Sanjana wanted to join the UXicorns to gain new skills, and contribute her skills to the club.
🦄 Kit is UXicorn’s Tech support. For any tech students who wants to join the backend of our club, Kit will be the person to reach out to! When she’s not solving tech puzzles, she’s putting together real ones – no, literally. Her favourite non-digital outlets are jigsaw puzzles and building with Lego! 🧩
🦄 Rhenz is UXicorn’s outreach and community engagement member. His favorite non-digital outlets include poetry, cooking, cosplay, and flower arrangement. 💐 Why did Rhenz join UXicorns? “To indulge in a growing community that aims to develop opportunities for various talented individuals.”
🦄 Jack is UXicorns’s event planning and workshop coordinator. When he’s not organizing awesome events for the UXicorns, you’ll find him soaking up inspiration through films, painting, music, or travelling. Why did Rhenz join UXicorns?“ I enjoy UX and wanted to be around like-minded people. ”
